Code Block Studio 1.7.5 — catalogue package preview
Pre-releaseCode Block Studio 1.7.5 prepares the first Joplin catalogue package with the reviewed write-up and a six-image product gallery.
What changed
- Added the concise catalogue description and detailed feature write-up to the package README.
- Registered screenshots for code cards, formatting comparisons, retro computer displays, BBC modes, language search and line wrapping.
- Requires Joplin Desktop 3.7.22 or later, matching the version used for Linux development checks.
- Keeps the existing plugin ID and settings. Every installer file except its manifest has exactly the same contents as 1.7.4; formatting, retro displays and editor behaviour are unchanged.
Install and try it
Download local.lpowers.code-studio.jpl, then use Joplin Desktop's Options / Settings → Plugins → gear button → Install from file and restart Joplin. Import code-block-studio-examples.md as a new note for 77 examples, with the main languages first and retro systems towards the end.
Version 1.7.5 is now published on npm. The downloaded npm package exactly matches the reviewed installer, metadata, six screenshots and example note. Joplin catalogue import remains pending; until it appears in Joplin's plugin search, use the manual installer.
Verification and compatibility
Built from reviewed public source f64e5b103063ec2833d93c3d84995e865a45fa74. Clean installation, TypeScript, build and all 111 automated tests pass; the dependency audit reports zero known vulnerabilities. The installer and its matching metadata use the same version, minimum Joplin version and six screenshot entries. All fonts, formatter assets and licence notices are included locally.
Windows and macOS have not been live-tested; mobile is unsupported. Fresh live Joplin testing was not repeated for this metadata-only update. Retro displays are static reproductions and do not execute snippets.
The release includes the installer, metadata JSON, 77-example Markdown note, reviewed source ZIP and SHA256SUMS. Download all five files into one directory and verify them on Linux with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.
