Feedback

  • Future work: Read pressures from RikenFE and MuonFE. There are pressure measuring devices but they currently have no serial cards. May be currently read by PLC. Kathryn might know about them [Kathryn says talk to TC or S].

  • cset and cget is still slow. We talked about upcoming change which should speed this up

  • barn doors are not coming online until after Christmas but should be available for offline testing. There is no new news on this.

  • It would be good in the start/stop IOC panel to have a tick box to show/hide IOC not in the config to avoid mis-clicking IOC without a configuration 2051

  • We should make sure all IOCs appear in alarm view when they are in the current config (Julabos don't appear to). 3868

  • They want to be able to show a selection of favourite graphs showing history of PVs, these should appear in the client on startup. Ideally, this would be part of the log plotter view. 3403

  • They asked if the dashboard could resize in a way that all blocks on RIKENFE would fit, maybe several block groups could use the same column (or flow with repeated header) if space, or block name could size to the longest name in column/group rather than being fixed size.

  • There was discussion about blocks in alarm on dashboard not being in the alarm view in some way (either directly or indirectly). 4707
