• For dataset types (extension-based) for which optimal viewers exist in o2S2PARC, it shall be possible to directly launch these viewers in o2S2PARC from the portal.
  It shall be continuously examined for which data types the optimal corresponding viewers are o2S2PARC based. For example, volume rendering for DICOM images.

suggested use cases for first implementation:

• open set of DICOM files in s4l postpro service
• open s4l cache file and/or results file in s4l postpro service
• open python script in jupyter lab
• open matlab script in jupyter lab (octave)

this also includes work on the Portal frontend, for which corresponding points should be assigned to us at the CCB

• needs to be pushed to the portal (along with J-D4.1.5 Search for compatible models that can be coupled on the portal Y4M06 #341)
