Workbench spawn-range fix

Fix the existing [Workbench] workbenchEnemySpawnRange setting so the configured protection applies when a station loads and remains in effect after its building range or upgrades are refreshed.

The current workbench uses a capsule collider, which the old adjustment did not support. Its spawn-protection radius stayed at 20 metres initially and later became the building range, ignoring the separate setting. For example, workbenchRange = 35 with workbenchEnemySpawnRange = 100 now consistently protects the configured 100-metre radius.

  • Support the station's actual capsule or sphere collider, including stations without a visual range marker.
  • Preserve explicit spawn-protection distances through repeated range queries and station-upgrade updates.
  • Keep workbenchEnemySpawnRange = 0 tied to the configured workbenchRange, as documented. Station upgrade bonuses still increase building reach; they do not change the configured protection distance.
  • Retain the existing configuration keys and defaults. No configuration migration is needed.
  • Use 1.3.4 for the plugin, main-menu version, GitHub release and Thunderstore package. Continue using Valheim 1.0.21 and BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360.

Example:

[Workbench]
enabled = true
workbenchRange = 35
workbenchEnemySpawnRange = 100

This protects spawn positions checked by the game's PlayerBase suppression rules, including the normal skeleton raid. It does not cancel raid events, remove existing enemies, or change special spawners that bypass those native rules.

The packaged DLL passed 2,932 automated runtime assertions, including 67 focused Workbench checks, on a local Valheim 1.0.21 Linux dedicated server. The checks cover native collider boundaries, initialization, repeated updates, upgrades, recreated station instances and disabled/fallback settings, alongside the existing feature regression suite. A separate run verified 253 Harmony patch registrations with all sections enabled, once with boolean options disabled and once enabled. No BepInEx or ValheimPlus errors were reported. Native headless graphics/video messages were retained and matched the previous runtime baseline.

The runtime checks use native game objects and methods in a headless process. They do not include a rendered Windows/macOS client session, a live two-client ownership handoff, or a complete multiplayer raid replay. Validation details and scope are recorded in build-manifest.json.

  • Thunderstore / r2modman update: Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary-1.3.4.zip, with BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360 as its dependency.
  • Existing BepInExPack 5.4.2360 installation: ValheimPlus-1.3.4.zip or the standalone ValheimPlus.dll.
  • BepInEx bundles: WindowsClient.zip, WindowsServer.zip, UnixClient.zip or UnixServer.zip.

Update the server and all clients to the same fork version. Keep your existing BepInEx/config/org.bepinex.plugins.valheim_plus.cfg; these packages do not replace it. Keep only one ValheimPlus plugin installed.
