ValheimPlus 1.3.1 (Iceskull Temporary) – Camera shake fix

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 16:34

Fixes camera-shake suppression and aligns the plugin, GitHub release and Thunderstore package at 1.3.1.

Changes

  • [Player] disableCameraShake now suppresses camera shake from all sources through the shared camera update, including the first-person camera paths. Active shake is cleared while the option is enabled. Disabling the option restores the native update without overwriting the player's shake strength or resetting the shake timer.
  • The menu, console and BepInEx metadata identify the fork as Iceskull Temporary. The menu displays ValheimPlus 1.3.1 (Iceskull Temporary), and BepInEx loads Valheim Plus (Iceskull Temporary) 1.3.1.
  • Existing ValheimPlus configuration files and settings are retained. The plugin keeps its existing identity and ValheimPlus.dll filename. Oat processing and protected stacks, Moulds, Moose, Gathering, expanded storage and the integrated upstream features remain available.

Downloads

  • Thunderstore / r2modman: Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary-1.3.1.zip, updating the existing package.
  • Existing BepInEx installation: ValheimPlus-1.3.1.zip or ValheimPlus.dll.
  • Bundled installation: choose the matching Windows/Unix client/server archive. These include BepInEx's own configuration file and preserve the existing ValheimPlus configuration.

Update both the server and all clients to 1.3.1.

Validation

The exact packaged Release DLL passed 2850 assertions on a local Valheim 1.0.20 dedicated server, including the existing feature suite, native camera-shake behavior, plugin metadata and generated menu text. The separate map-pin suite previously passed 78 assertions with stubbed game/network APIs; its implementation and tests are unchanged and were not rerun for this release.

ValheimPlus 0.10.3.6 – Upstream updates with fork compatibility

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 11:08

Integrates upstream ValheimPlus 10.4.0 improvements while retaining this fork's oat processing, armor mould settings and inventory protections. Plugin version: 0.10.3.6. Thunderstore package version: 1.3.0.

Added and fixed

  • Map: optional server-wide pin synchronization through [Map] syncPins, including saved pins and shared deletions. displayCartsAndBoats now includes the Drakkar.
  • Adrenaline: a new disabled-by-default [Adrenaline] section controls gain, decay, trinket activation cost and surge duration. Trinket tooltips show the adjusted cost and duration.
  • Gathering: independent obsidian, ice and softTissue modifiers, clearer resource descriptions, and corrected dropChance handling for resource nodes without guaranteed drops.
  • Pickable: expanded resource coverage and independent seeds, moltenCores and frostCores modifiers.
  • Automatic deposits: partially accepted output is synchronized to its chest, and only the remaining amount drops on the ground. This protection now covers the other processing machines as well as the windmill.
  • Automatic filling: nearby chests and production thresholds are evaluated once per filling cycle. The optional [Windmill] stopAutoFuelOatThreshold pauses automatic oat intake when nearby chests already hold the configured amount of oat flour. Its default of 0 keeps the existing behavior. Seeds, barley and already queued inputs continue processing.
  • Other fixes: disabling item loot through lootDropChanceMultiplier = -100 no longer awards rare drops through the game's pseudo-drop path; breeding/taming patches handle components without a Character; free placement rotation continues working after patches are reapplied.

Existing settings and behavior

  • [Windmill] oatProcessing = Oat or OatFlour works as before. In Oat mode, automatically deposited oats remain protected until a complete stack is taken into the player's inventory and returned. Partial transfers do not release them; returned oats wait for available capacity. Intermediate oats keep priority over new seeds, and partial output batches are still deposited automatically. The new flour threshold never releases protected oats.
  • [Moulds] remains a separate section with the same Caller, Vanguard and Protector settings. Existing values continue to apply without moving them into [LootDrop].
  • [Gathering] frostwood and goldOre retain their existing names and values for Timberwood and Petrified Tissue.
  • Moose and calves remain supported. Drakkar, Grausten Chest, Wardrobe and Barrel inventory settings retain their existing behavior, including preservation of occupied slots when a smaller size is configured and support for current and legacy saved inventories.
  • When the new [Pickable] seeds setting is absent, it is initialized once from the existing flowersAndIngredients value so seed yields remain unchanged during the update. An explicit seeds value, including 0, is preserved. The settings can then be adjusted independently.

Downloads

  • Thunderstore / r2modman: Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary-1.3.0.zip, containing plugin 0.10.3.6. This is an update to the existing Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary package.
  • Existing BepInEx installation: ValheimPlus-0.10.3.6.zip or ValheimPlus.dll.
  • Bundled installations: select the matching Windows/Unix client/server archive.

Existing ValheimPlus configuration files are preserved, and new options are added by the plugin. Bundled installations include BepInEx's own configuration file. Use plugin 0.10.3.6 on both server and clients.

Validation

The exact packaged Release DLL passed 2738 runtime assertions on a local Valheim 1.0.20 dedicated server. A separate upstream map-pin suite passed 78 assertions with stubbed game/network APIs; these are not included in the live runtime count. Installation archives and the Thunderstore package are checked against the verified DLL.

Source commit: b756616c79fdeb16d32becb2ee5552d8effeb5c9. Upstream integrated through 5c4470ac4cd0b914e2864a5fbcea164231b6f9a8. The build manifest records the DLL checksum, test-source checksums and both test-log checksums.

ValheimPlus 0.10.3.5 – Armor mould drop chance options

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Oct 17:18

Adds independent armor mould drop-chance settings for Caller, Vanguard and Protector while retaining the existing windmill, Moose, Gathering and inventory features.

Armor mould settings

The new [Moulds] section is disabled by default. Enable it and adjust each set independently:

[Moulds]
enabled = true
callerDropChanceMultiplier = 0
vanguardDropChanceMultiplier = 0
protectorDropChanceMultiplier = 0

0 preserves the existing chance, 100 doubles it, 200 triples it, -50 halves it, and -100 disables that set's armor mould drops. Each setting covers the helmet, chest and leg moulds. The configuration documents the native Valheim 1.0.20 drop chances:

Set Source Chance per piece, zero / one / two stars
Caller Hexen 5% / 5% / 5%
Vanguard Both Krigen variants 3% / 6% / 12%
Protector Both Krigen variants 3% / 6% / 12%

These are individual piece chances, not a single chance for an entire set. The game's native drop logic and quantities are preserved. Per-set chance modifiers combine multiplicatively with an enabled [LootDrop] chance modifier. Weapon, shield and key moulds are outside this section.

Downloads

  • Thunderstore / r2modman update: Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary-1.2.0.zip, containing plugin 0.10.3.5. Upload this ZIP as the next version of the existing Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary package.
  • Existing BepInEx installation: ValheimPlus-0.10.3.5.zip or ValheimPlus.dll.
  • Bundled installations: select the matching Windows/Unix client/server archive.

Existing ValheimPlus configuration files are preserved; the plugin adds the new settings. Use plugin 0.10.3.5 on both server and clients.

Validation

The exact packaged Release DLL passed 2,307 runtime assertions on a local Valheim 1.0.20 dedicated server, covering the existing features and the new Moulds settings. Installation archives and the Thunderstore package are verified against that DLL. Checksums and the source commit are included in the release assets.

ValheimPlus 0.10.3.4 – Gathering and storage options

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 23 Oct 20:01

This release adds Gathering modifiers for Timberwood and Petrified Tissue, plus independent inventory sizes for the Drakkar, Grausten Chest, Wardrobe and Barrel. It also includes the configurable oat processing and Moose support from 0.10.3.3.

Gathering

Enable [Gathering] and set these percentage modifiers:

[Gathering]
enabled = true
frostwood = 100
goldOre = 100
  • frostwood controls Timberwood (Frostwood) produced by the existing Gathering drop-table path, including northern tree logs.
  • goldOre controls Petrified Tissue (GoldOre) released from broken petrified rotten troll parts. Killing or petrifying the troll still follows the game's normal sequence.
  • Both default to 0: normal quantity. 100 doubles the quantity; -100 removes that resource's drops. Other resources in the same drop table keep their own settings.

Inventory

These defaults preserve the native sizes of all four containers:

[Inventory]
enabled = true
graustenChestColumns = 8
graustenChestRows = 5
wardrobeColumns = 5
wardrobeRows = 10
barrelColumns = 6
barrelRows = 2
drakkarInventoryColumns = 8
drakkarInventoryRows = 4
Container Columns Rows
Grausten Chest 3–8 3–20
Wardrobe 3–8 3–20
Barrel 3–8 2–20
Drakkar 6–8 3–30

The Drakkar uses its own settings independently of the longboat. Size changes apply when containers load into the world, so restart after editing these settings. Existing occupied columns and rows stay accessible when a configured size is reduced, including inventories saved in the older item format. Once those positions are empty, a later load can use the smaller configured size.

Thunderstore update

Upload Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary-1.1.0.zip under team Iceskull to update the existing ValheimPlus_Temporary package. Thunderstore package version 1.1.0 contains ValheimPlus plugin 0.10.3.4 and retains the package name, icon and BepInEx dependency. The ZIP includes the updated README and changelog.

Installation

Install this version on both server and clients.

  • Existing BepInEx installation: replace BepInEx/plugins/ValheimPlus.dll with the standalone DLL or extract ValheimPlus-0.10.3.4.zip into the game/server directory.
  • Full installation: choose WindowsClient.zip, WindowsServer.zip, UnixClient.zip or UnixServer.zip. These include BepInExPack 5.4.2351.
  • Keep your existing configuration. The new entries are added on startup with neutral/default values; enable the sections and adjust them as desired.

Validation

The new Gathering and Inventory features were confirmed working in game. 474 automated assertions passed on a local Valheim dedicated server with the exact packaged DLL. Coverage includes original resource tables, live log and petrified troll fracture destruction, section toggles, independent boat settings, size limits, current and legacy inventory saves, shrink/reload preservation, and the previous oat/Moose regression checks. Grenade flight, rendered inventory UI and a connected multiplayer session were not simulated.

Built against Valheim 1.0.20. The packages contain the same verified Release DLL, license and build manifest; full packages also contain BepInEx. SHA256SUMS provides asset checksums.

ValheimPlus 0.10.3.3 – Configurable oat processing and Moose support

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 23 Oct 11:42

Thunderstore upload: Iceskull-ValheimPlus_Temporary.zip — team Iceskull, package name ValheimPlus_Temporary, package version 1.0.0, plugin version 0.10.3.3.

Windmills can now stop automatic oat processing at oats or continue through both native steps to oat flour.

Set the new option in your existing configuration:

[Windmill]
enabled = true
autoFuel = true
autoDeposit = true
oatProcessing = Oat
  • Oat: seeds become oats and are automatically stored in nearby chests. Freshly deposited oats are retained for recipes such as oat milk.
  • OatFlour (default): seeds become oats, then oat flour, preserving the existing automatic processing chain.
  • In Oat mode, move an entire oat stack into your player inventory and return it to a nearby chest to allow milling into flour. If the windmill is full, the returned oats wait for available capacity.
  • Partial transfers, including transfers limited by a full player inventory, keep oats protected from automatic milling. Merging stacks preserves the separate protected and processable quantities, including after saving and loading.
  • Barley processing and the existing Moose support in [Procreation] and [Tameable] remain available.

The windmill uses one shared input queue. For example, with maximumBarley = 50, adding 5 OatSeeds followed by 5 Oat displays 10/50 items. Inputs are processed in insertion order: the seeds produce 5 Oat, and the oats produce 5 OatFlour. With oatProcessing = Oat, the newly produced oats stay in the chest until you move the entire stack into your player inventory and return it for another pass through the queue.

Built against Valheim 1.0.20. All 89 runtime assertions passed on a local dedicated server using the release DLL, covering both oat modes, full and partial transfers, mixed stacks, inventory persistence, queue capacity, chest deposits, barley, and Moose behavior.

For an existing BepInEx installation, use ValheimPlus-0.10.3.3.zip or replace ValheimPlus.dll. Platform packages include BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2351. Update the server and all clients to the same version. Existing configuration files are preserved; the new option defaults to OatFlour.
