MONO2K 1.6.2

MONO2K 1.6.2 for the M-VAVE FM-1: no clicks on legato notes and accents, VO-6 heard on short notes.

No more clicks: a note played over one still sounding passes into the new one in 3 ms on GND-SIN, FM+STAT, FM+DYN, FM+PAR, DIGI-WAV, SWAV-PULS and SWAV-ENS (and SID-6581 with PWRS). A note from silence, a hit over a quiet tail and the drums start exactly as before. An accent on a sounding note comes in smoothly.

VO-6: it reaches its level within about 40 ms, so short notes are heard in full; a note over a sounding one keeps its level and glides to the new vowel.

Delays: long times (ping-pong from DTIM 48, or past 0.74 s) put their first echo on time; it came up to 19 ms early.

• File: mono2k-1.6.2.fwsc, identity FM-1_980, SHA-256 931fded2bed3ffdaf311a9424c8af6e4d77d887afd29d31ca1b0a65b5d8dcda1 (the same file as the installer's).
• Install: from the FM-1 Firmware Hub or the installer page, over USB in Chrome or Edge. Coming from 1.x, your patterns stay.
• Leave it: install any other firmware as usual; MONO2K starts its update loader (Felucca's). Holding OCT− while switching on always reaches the updater.
