📣 Announcement

The first release of DiaTweaks. From now on it updates itself: open Settings → Patches → Software Update to choose how.

To get this one, paste this into Terminal once. It works however old your install is:

rm -rf /tmp/DiaTweaks && git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/JaceThings/DiaTweaks.git /tmp/DiaTweaks && /tmp/DiaTweaks/install.sh

✨ New tweaks

• Edge-to-edge web content
  Remove the padding between web pages and the window edge.
• Square corners by the sidebar
  Let web pages meet the sidebar with straight edges.
• Hide toolbar
  Remove the bar with the address, navigation buttons and extensions. Experimental.
• Reveal toolbar on hover
  Show the hidden toolbar while the pointer is at the top of the page.
• Hide sidebar button
  Hide the sidebar toggle at the top left of the toolbar.
• Hide Chat button
  Hide the Chat button at the top right of the toolbar.
• Hide Chats button
  Hide the Chats button in the tab bar or sidebar.
• Hide recent tabs button
  Hide the recent tabs button in the tab bar or sidebar.
• Group Tabs by Domain
  Group a window's tabs by site. Right-click a tab, or choose Tabs → Group Tabs by Domain.

⚡️ Improvements

• Settings → Patches has sections, search and a page for each tweak
• Software Update keeps Dia and DiaTweaks up to date, with a choice per app: off, notify, download, or download and install on quit
• The diatweaks command turns tweaks on and off, and updates Dia and DiaTweaks from Terminal
• Tweaks keep working when Dia updates, and switch themselves off if Dia crashes twice at launch
