Every tweak DiaTweaks adds to Dia. Turn them on and off in Dia → Settings → Patches, or with the diatweaks command.

Page

Tweak	What it does
Edge-to-Edge Web Pages	Removes the padding between pages and the window edge
Square Corners Next to Sidebar	Pages meet the sidebar with straight edges

Toolbar

Tweak	What it does
Hide Toolbar	Hides the address bar, navigation buttons and extensions
Show Toolbar on Hover	Shows the hidden toolbar when the pointer is at the top of the page
Show Toolbar on New Tabs	Keeps the hidden toolbar on new tab pages
Show Toolbar with Sidebar	Shows the hidden toolbar while the sidebar is open
Show Toast When Copying URL	Shows a small Copied message at the top of the page after ⇧⌘C
Show Toolbar When Copying URL	Shows the hidden toolbar for a moment after ⇧⌘C
Hide Site Color in Tab Bar	Keeps the selected tab at the top in the page colour while the toolbar is hidden

Toolbar Items

Tweak	What it does
Always Show Address Field	Keeps the address field's background and buttons showing
Hide Chat Button	Hides the Chat button in the toolbar
Hide Sidebar Button	Hides the sidebar button

Sidebar & Tab Bar

Tweak	What it does
Tidy Tabs	Groups your tabs by what they're for, with Apple Intelligence
Profile Emoji	Shows an emoji in place of each profile's dot
Translucent Sidebar	Lets the page show through the sidebar when it floats over it
Compact Sidebar Header	Moves the pinned tabs up into the space under the window buttons
Hide Chats Button	Hides the Chats button in the tab bar or sidebar
Hide Pinned Tab Border	Removes the colored border around the selected pinned tab
Hide Recent Tabs Button	Hides the recent tabs button in the tab bar or sidebar

Tabs & Downloads

Tweak	What it does
Don’t Open Downloads List	Stops the downloads list opening by itself for each download
Close Tabs from Tab Switcher	W or ⌘W in the tab switcher closes the highlighted tab
Unload Tabs	Unload a tab from its right-click menu, keeping it in the sidebar

Command Bar

Tweak	What it does
Compact Command Bar	Fits the command bar on one line when its buttons need chat usage
Compact with Chat Usage Too	Compacts the command bar even when you have chat usage
Open New Tabs in Command Bar	Opens a new tab as Dia's command bar over the page you're on
Blur Page Behind	Blurs the page behind the command bar
Darken Page Behind	Darkens the page behind the command bar
Remember What You Typed	Brings back what you typed when you open the command bar again
Hide Upgrade Banner	Hides the chat upgrade banner under the command bar

Window

Tweak	What it does
Window Material	Shows a material or Liquid Glass behind the tabs and sidebar
Keep Windows Active	Keeps a window's shadow, sidebar colour and window buttons after you click away
macOS 26 Window Corners	Rounds windows to 26 points like other apps on macOS 26
Hide Window Controls	Hides the close, minimize and zoom buttons

Passwords

Tweak	What it does
Allow 1Password	Lets the 1Password extension connect to the 1Password app
Allow iCloud Passkeys	Signs in with passkeys saved in Apple Passwords
Allow iCloud Passwords	Lets the iCloud Passwords extension fill your Apple Passwords

Links

Tweak	What it does
Peek on Shift-Click	Shift-click a link to preview it in a card over the page, like Arc
Hide Link Address	Hides the address that shows when you point at a link

Commands

A command runs once each time you choose it. There's nothing to turn on.

Command	What it does
Group Tabs by Domain	Groups a window's tabs by site

Adding a tweak

Start a page titled as the tweak is in Settings, paste in the page template, and link it from the sidebar and a row above. See CONTRIBUTING.md.
