commentary action "gcc" or "gc {motion} "not working

I’ve added set commentary in my .ideavimrc, and the :7,17Commentary command works correctly in a .java file.
However, the gcc and gc{motion} shortcuts do not work.
My IdeaVim version: 2.28.0-eap.5
