Nested Content With Grid Component (Legacy) to Block List with Grid Component (Block Grid)

We have an Umbraco 13 site that we are in the process of auditing to migrate to v17.

It uses a patched version of the DTGE editor to run on 13 which we will look to migrate to the block list, but the more tricky (I think) item is that this site uses nested content with a Grid component, that component has a single property called gridContent which i think is also the DTGE or legacy grid.

There are separate migrations for the items above but if i run the the migrators does it resolve the nested grid on the component and also the nested content to block list too? i am trying to work out what additional work we would need to do or if this sort of scenario is already handled.
