Hi,
sorry for the dumb question but after spending 1 day chatting with GPT, going through issues here and then reading the code, I'm still no wiser.
Question I'm trying to answer: Is BT meant to be used (and better working) with TRVs that offer writeable "valve_position" or is it designed to manipulate the target temperature only and then let the TRV decide on its own?
I've just installed it with Avatto TRV06, and those do not have the position exposed at all, only the PI heating demand, which is read-only (and sadly null in MQTT all the time).

I'm wondering about this because I can still return the TRVs and maybe buy better ones that would support setting the valve position directly. I'm afraid now it is running in the mode that it either opens the valve to 100 or 0, nothing in between, which would be rather inefficient and oscillating around the temperature set.
Thank you for the answer.
