Vibe Files 0.1.0 (pre-release)

First pre-release of Vibe Files: document management for small CPA and tax firms over a plain client folder tree (Windows, portable).

Pre-release: in use at Kisaes LLC for its two-week live run (PHASES P13). Not yet on winget.

Install

Unzip vibe-files-0.1.0-win64.zip into a folder and run vibe-files.exe. Everything it needs is inside: pdfium (PDF viewing), TWAINDSM (scanning), Tesseract with English data (OCR). The data folder is data\ beside the exe. Setup, LAN sharing, B2 sync, key escrow and disaster recovery: OPERATIONS.md in the zip.

Browse, intake (Filer Desktop engine, TWAIN/WIA scanning, barcode cover sheets, print capture), OCR and full-text search, PDF viewer with annotations, stamps, redaction and PDF/A, versions, audit trail, trash and undo, retention and disposition with legal holds, form recognition and auto-filing (W-2, 1099s, 1098, K-1, SSA-1099), folder-tree import, and two-way encrypted B2 sync.

License: AGPL-3.0-or-later. Bundled third-party components keep their own licenses (pdfium, TWAINDSM, Tesseract: Apache-2.0).
