Dual smart thermostat

Hi looking for a bit of advice. I have downloaded from hacks dual smart thermostat. When I tried to add integration it said to add to configuration.yaml so I have copied the full example from https://github.com/swingerman/ha-dual-smart-thermostat/tree/master into this and changed Sensors to fit for me it's pasted into my configuration.yaml page.
I have also added all the files to custom_components/dual_smart_thermostat folder from the ha-dual-smart-thermostat repository page. (After reading the integrations platform page.)
These are:
init.py
Climate.py
Const.py
Manifest.json
Opening_manager.py
Services.yaml

I now want to create this feature in the heating.yaml page I created but confused as to what i done is correct and what the next step is so I can set temperatures in the room etc
