Device supported but provided by another manufacturer not supported

Hi eveyone,

this device is supported:

I have 3 of them and now i bought next one. But for some reason manufacturer i data is different: _TZE284_qtnjuoae

Zigbee2mqtt show this:

"Received message from unsupported device with Zigbee model 'TS0601' and manufacturer name '_TZE284_qtnjuoae'"

Is there any way to reuse current supported device?

Could you try to:

• Stop Z2M
• Open data/database.db with a text editor and change all occurrences of _TZE284_qtnjuoae to _TZE200_akjefhj5
• Start Z2M and see if the device now works

Woah, this is a pretty old post.. Anyway, I just got 2 of these valves and _TZE284_qtnjuoae is not supported still but the _TZE200_akjefhj5 that the OP mentioned looks exactly the same. Didn't want to work at all initially but the modification of the db did the trick, thank you very much @Koenkk !

Hi, I guess i need something similar, that's why i don't open a seperate thread
. I have 3 Paul Neuhaus Q smart home lights;

All the three provide the same functionality and whatever i press on the remote, all the three react the same way (they are all in the kitchen). So I assume, that the are technically the same, just looking different.

The second one was recognized by Zigbee2Mqtt and works fine. But the other two show up as "not supported":

I've tried to learn about external converters, and tried to copy something from the working one to a new external converter.... But first I don't know, how to connect that with the two unrecognized devices. Second it seems that i am on the wrong path anyway as i created a new folder data/external_converters into the zigbee2mqtt folder and put a .mjs file in it... but no info was published after restarting as said in documentation.
Also i am device-info missing from these unsupported devices:

They already worked fine with ZHA by the way, but i switched to Zigbee2Mqtt because of other problems with other devices with ZHA.

Could you open an issue and share the database.db entry of those lights ?

Also, try to pair again your device as it seems the interview did not go well.
