Kuldebar's Preferred Addons and Mods for Turtle WoW

A curated list for Turtle WoW players, centered around pfUI or DragonflightReloaded for a polished experience BUT you can choose to forgo both of those and still build a very fine UI from this list. For example, ShaguTweaks and/or Bongos can improve the default Turtle UI features without reinventing it. Updated: 9/1/2025

Alternative to pfUI

If you prefer a modern yet more classic UI alternative to pfUI, try Dragonflight: Reloaded 2.

• DragonflightReloaded: Modern UI replacement for WoW Classic (1.12), inspired by Dragonflight UI - less complex than pfUI but very nice.

Backup

• ShaguTweaks: A collection of tweaks and enhancements to the Default UI.

• ShaguTweaks-extras: This addon extends the capabilities of ShaguTweaks by offering optional modules that can be easily toggled on or off.

• ShaguPlates: Nameplate addon featuring castbars, class colors and much more. Type /splates to show the settings.

Optional addons that will enhance DragonflightReloaded or any non-pfUI addon build.:

• Bongos: Versatile modular action bar framework to replace default bars and elements.

• Puppeteer: Tailored for healers, but can be a viable unit frames addon for any class and spec.

  

• Tooltip Wrangler: TTW allows the user to move and anchor the tooltips freely about the screen.

• VCB: Vanilla Consolidate Buff-Frames (VCB) is a smart system to manage your buffs.

• Fizzle: Shows you an items durability values above the item in your character frame. It can show you either the raw values, or a percentage value.

• EquipCompare: Compare items easily with ones you have equipped.

• AutoRepair KC: Attempts to Auto Repair your equipment when you visit an able vendor.
