MCL Micro-Drive XY Positioner and Nano-Drive Z-Positioner

Software

  • No COM port
  • Requires 2025 MCL drivers in the iSIM_Backup folder
    • Drivers are at \\sb-nas1.rcp.epfl.ch\LEB\Lab_business\Instruments\iSIM\Drivers\Mad City Labs
    • 2017 drivers do not work with Windows 11 and higher
    • Driver updates require writing to MCL

NOTE: The XY List feature in Micro-Manager using the MCL_MicroDrive device adapter requires the following:

To correctly use the XY List feature, including the Calibrate button, the positioning type must be set to Absolute on the Device/Property Browser. However, Calibrate on the Device/Property Browser (see below) calibrates correctly using either absolute or relative positioning.
