GoGo Board 6.x ESP firmware version 16.2.0

This firmware is used on GoGo Board 6.x, which provides high-level functionalities of the hardware, enables children experience on computational thinking with creative minds.

How to upgrade to this version

The firmware can be upgrade via GoGo Updater software. Upgrade procedure can be follows on this document : GoGo Updater Manual

Note: If your GoGo Board firmware below 16.0.0, you need to use GoGo Updater Software legacy version (0.5.0) to upgrade to latest firmware version

What's new in this version

• Display
  • add loudness on-board monitor.
  • changes UI font, switch to Baloo2 font.
  • fixes text redraw over previous text.
• Offline datalog
  • refactor polling event, this helps overall stability while getting data from board itself.
• Logo program
  • fixes when logo program end, it was not stop running.
• Digital sensors (I2C port)
  • fixes i2crequest implementation, Logo program now can support more digital sensors.
• Network
  • fixes device name when connected to internet not showing as GoGo-xxxxxx.
  • fixes sometimes network config not launch or hang after pressed from on-board setting.
• Neopixel RGBs
  • fixes brightness consistancy when changing on-board brightness setting.
• Other technical updates
  • logo opcodes list has been seperated as a new file for more easier to maintained.
  • fixes inter-communication between cores interval, this should helps consistency of commands process.
  • reduces usage of nvs to stores logo program length.

Known issues

• On-board tutorials, other examples excepts Night light still not working.
• Procedure block with returned value, cannot return floating number.
