Skip to previous track seeks to the start and doesn't go back

Skip to previous track currently doesn't do what it says. It goes to the start of the song. This is not how it's described and thus causes issues. Yes you can press it multiple times but that doesn't work. To go back I have found I attempt to back 10-15 times. This is due to it using web apis and the delay for me and the delay as well with using spotifyd

1. Play any track
2. Press p (default for Skip to previous track)

Well this is how it works everywhere on spotify, the official desktop program and on mobile. If you press previous once it goes back to the start of the song and if you press it twice it actually goes to the previous song. That should also work here, if you press p twice rapidly it should go back to the previous song.

I could maybe make it send the previous command twice when you press p so it actually goes to the previous song but I think that would be confusing to a lot of people as its the default across spotify

I don't think your wrong that might be how it works everywhere but as someone who has never personally used the official apps much and always used a middleman or something third party to interact what "feels normal" (/is normal) to me is it instantly going back and not seeking to the start.

There is also /me/player/previous in the spotify web API. That it self goes straight to the previous track with out any seeking

Another idea could be binding something to P that goes to the previous and fully skips seeking to the start. That still leaves the default/common implementation of seeking to the start instead of going back. In theory I could swap those keys so the default would go back and not seek

Id also love an adjustable window of time for when it goes back a track instead of seeking to the start

I could maybe leave p as it works now and make P (shift + p) go to the previous song.
