Constellation 1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 30 Oct 19:30
0a8cedf

Constellation 1.0.2 improves larger multi-page dashboard creation and focused table editing while retaining the existing search, validation and permission boundaries.

Changes

  • Plan eligible fresh SPL dashboards with explicit page membership and shared searches, including destination-local row drilldowns and return navigation.
  • Separate basic larger Ollama/AITK source planning from page composition, using verified output fields within the existing recovery budget.
  • Strengthen native numeric/series and network-node bindings; retain independent measurements and missing values.
  • Add unambiguous named table aggregates without inference when eligible, cloning shared sources and verifying visible output columns.
  • Keep focused repairs compact and update the README, author guide and installation/upgrade documentation.

Verification and scope

The exact installer passed nine ordinary-author eight-page, 24-chart creation/editing cycles across OpenAI, Ollama and managed AITK. Browser checks covered focused edits, drilldowns, return navigation, refresh and persistence; separate native rendering/save, cancellation and calculation probes are recorded in the qualification summary.

672 Python and 151 frontend tests passed locally. All four required GitHub CI checks passed on both the release branch and final merge commit. Local AppInspect 4.2.1 reported zero errors/failures/future failures, seven warning checks and one skipped check. Recorded creation times were 36–109 seconds; these are bounded observations, not a latency guarantee. Full Studio parity, SHC coordination and Splunk Cloud certification remain outside the supported profile.

Install or update

Download constellation-1.0.2.tar.gz and verify it against SHA256SUMS. The installer contains 550 regular files under one app root, with no macOS sidecars/resource forks, extended tar metadata or local evidence. Its SHA-256 is:

7df2620bb442ac4617f46cae677c29af1719d99984e5cddb010eb461288958fc

The app bytes are unchanged from the archive qualified on Enterprise 10.2.8 and 10.4.4. Draft schema 3, portable format 5 and credential permissions are unchanged. Back up first, install using Splunk's update option, follow its restart indication and refresh old workspace tabs. See the upgrade guide.

Included downloads

The release includes the installer, Markdown and illustrated six-page PDF user guides, the offline app/documentation bundle, the MIT LICENSE, dependency notices and SHA256SUMS covering all six payloads. The bundle contains the same installer and matching guide images. Documentation screenshots are labelled synthetic local examples; private lab evidence is not included.

Constellation 1.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 30 Oct 16:21
4a89296

Constellation 1.0.1 improves multi-page previews and draft-save recovery while retaining the existing search, validation and permission boundaries.

Changes

  • Preview the active page’s charts and inputs, including global inputs and auxiliary graph sources. Reuse fresh unchanged results and cancel obsolete page work. The bound remains eight consumer sources per page, 200 rows and five seconds per query.
  • Confirm uncertain draft writes by exact state/revision readback and optional private operation receipts. Preserve genuine concurrent edits and offer Save as new draft to keep both versions.
  • Keep a verified primary save successful when only its recent-draft pointer fails. Expand Save details when needed for bounded stage/revision diagnostics.
  • Update the README, installation/upgrade instructions, troubleshooting and illustrated user guide. Draft schema 3 and portable format 5 remain unchanged.

Install and read

Install constellation-1.0.1.tar.gz through Splunk app management. For an existing installation, select the update option, follow Splunk’s restart indication and refresh old workspace tabs.

The handoff ZIP includes the same app, current documentation, illustrated PDF, screenshots, MIT license and dependency notices. Markdown and PDF guides are also separate downloads. Verify SHA256SUMS before use. The app archive contains only regular files under one constellation/ root, with no macOS sidecars, resource forks or extended tar metadata.

App SHA-256: 8f875e0a204630589df32c1bec8b8d4e6e4d50d49fd01b6951c38617b4b79515.

Verification

  • 637 Python / 151 frontend tests, production build/browser budget and required CI checks.
  • Nine ordinary-author two-page creation/edit cycles across OpenAI, Ollama and managed AITK. One OpenAI creation recovered automatically; all nine passed exact draft reopen and native definition readback.
  • Installed browser selected-element edits, row/detail/return navigation, native rendering and controlled save-response/conflict recovery. Temporary authors, copied key and test objects were cleaned up.
  • The exact app bytes were installed on Enterprise 10.2.8 and 10.4.4. AppInspect precert reported zero errors/failures and seven reviewed warnings.

See release evidence and support scope. This is bounded single-search-head Enterprise qualification; complete Studio parity, SHC coordination and Cloud certification remain outside the support profile. The recent-pointer fix addresses a reproduced failure path, not a confirmed cause of every historical conflict.

Constellation 1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 29 Oct 15:46

Constellation 1.0 is the first release for the documented single Linux Splunk Enterprise search-head profile. Create and refine dashboards through a conversation beside a live canvas, then save normal private Dashboard Studio dashboards that can be edited and shared through Splunk.

Highlights

  • Blank-canvas real-data creation, native pages and drilldowns, selected-element chat edits, durable drafts/conversations and recoverable dashboard management.
  • OpenAI, Ollama and administrator-approved AITK inference, with current-user search validation and guarded image/PDF input where supported.
  • Native media/SVG assets and compatible cross-instance CSV, macro and report dependencies from the previously unpublished 0.35–0.43 increments.
  • Field inspection follows selected sources and current input values. Compound requests retain all goals. Initial JavaScript is about 91% smaller through deferred renderer loading.

Downloads

  • constellation-1.0.0.tar.gz — installable Splunk app; the exact qualified archive bytes.
  • constellation-1.0.0-handoff.zip — the same app plus the user guide, setup, security, upgrade, support and validation documentation.
  • constellation-1.0.0-user-guide.md — standalone user guide.
  • constellation-1.0.0-user-guide.pdf — illustrated six-page guide.
  • LICENSE — MIT license for first-party code and documentation; keep it with the installer when redistributing.
  • constellation-1.0.0-third-party-notices.zip — complete collected upstream notices accompanying the original installer; included in the handoff.
  • SHA256SUMS — SHA-256 checksums for all six downloads.

App SHA-256: d53d62e3ce929a5a912cd1d6dccddaecbdee96d65a35d7b4a4a7f44cb0ddebc7.

Install or update through normal Splunk app management, refresh existing workspace tabs and follow Splunk's restart indication. Back up owned drafts, native dashboards and administrator configuration. Draft schema remains 3 and portable format 5; the tested rollback baseline is the unpublished 0.43.0 package. Rollback to the older published 0.34 archive is not qualified. Configure provider credentials in Splunk; none are supplied in these downloads.

Qualification and scope

The exact app passed 620 Python and 143 frontend tests, production build, AppInspect precert with zero errors/failures, and ordinary-author creation/editing, native output, recovery/cancellation and upgrade/rollback checks on Enterprise 10.2.8 / Studio 1.23.12 and Enterprise 10.4.4 / Studio 1.26.6. OpenAI, Ollama and AITK 6.1/6.2 journeys were exercised. The release commit also passes CI. Archives were checked for macOS metadata, runtime-local material and secrets.

This is bounded qualification. Complete Studio parity, Cloud certification, SHC coordination, arbitrary models and every advanced feature combination are outside the release profile. Native-only properties remain preserved. Human/independent reviews continue after release under the product owner's decision; they are not labelled as completed. See the support policy, upgrade guide and dated validation with retained failures.

Compatible bug/security fixes can ship as 1.x updates. Report reproducible issues using the bug form, with synthetic examples and no credentials, internal hosts, indexed data or private files. Use private vulnerability reporting for security issues.

Repository access is required while distribution remains private. First-party code and documentation use the MIT License, copyright 2026 Leiter Consulting. Third-party components retain their own licenses.

Documentation refresh · October 29, 2026

The documentation refresh at revision d1470b3 added a task-led documentation index, clearer installation/provider/upgrade guidance, troubleshooting, four labelled local UI screenshots with synthetic data, and the illustrated PDF. Detailed historical evidence remains available. See the assessment and closeout and documentation index.

This documentation-only revision leaves the qualified app bytes and v1.0.0 runtime tag unchanged. GitHub’s automatic source archives retain the original tagged snapshot. The later documentation revision passed 628 Python tests, local-link and screenshot-provenance checks, publication/secret scans and CI. These checks do not add new runtime, provider or native qualification.

MIT licensing · October 29, 2026

The owner selected MIT for Constellation’s first-party code and documentation in c469f91. The current handoff and standalone LICENSE accompany the unchanged qualified 1.0 installer. Keep the license with redistributed copies and preserve the existing third-party notices. Future source builds embed constellation/LICENSE; package metadata now identifies MIT.

The MIT licensing update used revision c469f91. The illustrated PDF and standalone Markdown guide are unchanged. The v1.0.0 runtime tag, original installer bytes, repository visibility and bounded qualification profile remain unchanged. GitHub’s automatic source archives retain the original tagged snapshot.

Public-repository preparation · October 29, 2026

Revision f3bbf64 completes the upstream notice collector: alternative license filenames, README-based license declarations, upstream NOTICE/copyright files and version/hash-pinned sources for omitted notices. The notices supplement accompanies the original installer and is included in the current handoff. Keep it and LICENSE with redistributed copies. Future builds embed the collected material.

Current documentation/handoff sources use f3bbf64. The app archive and runtime tag are unchanged. All published tags use identical pinned non-development dependency versions, so this notice inventory also covers the historical installers. This adds attribution material, not runtime/provider/native qualification. See the publication review and owner handoff and upstream sources.

Constellation 0.34.0 — Development preview

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 28 Oct 18:59

Constellation 0.34.0 is a development preview. The repository remains private; no first-party open-source license has been selected.

This release includes the previously unpublished 0.32 and 0.33 increments:

  • Native Studio guidance from a versioned 29-type/822-option inventory, table sparklines and guarded per-column styling.
  • Saved-report preview replay, selected report field inspection, retained reset defaults and restored/unset input state.
  • Specialized chart source validation and smaller native creation plans for Sankey, parallel coordinates, timelines, link graphs, pie and punchcard.
  • Separate native type/option version boundaries, preserved imported properties, and exact selected-chart literal token interactions.

Install constellation-0.34.0.tar.gz through Splunk app management. The handoff ZIP contains the same app and reviewed documentation; the standalone user guide is also attached. Verify all downloads with SHA256SUMS. The installable archive is a byte copy of the qualified package, SHA-256 d9082f7bebded1f124fbc3508fec049d0fcb1b909b06a1b3e6752e82cecf26c9. Both archives were inspected for macOS sidecars/resource forks, extra metadata and private configuration.

Validation: 501 backend tests, 117 frontend tests, production build, exact-source CI on Python 3.9/3.13, and AppInspect 4.3.1 precert with zero errors/failures/future failures (seven warnings, one skip). The exact app bytes were installed on the two recorded Enterprise versions. Fifteen final ordinary-user provider turns passed across OpenAI, Ollama and AITK, with one recovered Ollama creation. Native administrator browser checks are separately scoped.

This is not 1.0, full native parity, production qualification or Splunk Cloud certification. Maps/SVG/custom assets, report scheduling/owner semantics, broader interactions/inputs/imports/SPL2, themes/accessibility, deployment topology and unaided-user acceptance remain open. See the bundled validation summary and native coverage ledger for evidence and limits.

Dependency notices · October 29, 2026

This historical installer uses the same pinned non-development dependency paths, versions and integrity records as 1.0.0. The added THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.zip supplies upstream notices omitted by the original collector; keep it with redistributed copies. Original installer, handoff, guide and runtime tag bytes are unchanged. SHA256SUMS now also covers the supplement. The maintained release line is 1.x. See the notice sources.

Constellation 0.31.1 — Development preview

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 28 Oct 11:50

Constellation 0.31.1 is a development preview, build 47, continuing work toward 1.0. This release includes the authoring and reliability improvements since the last published release, 0.28.0, while retaining the conversation-and-canvas interface and current-user validation boundaries.

Changes

  • Give eligible Ollama first drafts a bounded flat chart list with explicit page membership, then compile ordinary stats, timechart and raw-table recipes from verified fields. AITK uses the smaller calculation-specific recipes too; unsupported calculations retain their pipeline/native alternatives.
  • Keep compact first-draft recovery focused on the complete original goal. Preserve exact chart/page counts, Overview/detail populations, actual output fields, temperature exclusions and unrelated native work through ordinary validation.
  • Retain explicit recorded-unit declarations with the selected source and avoid redundant optional unit-confirmation follow-ons. Unknown, conflicting and conversion-related units remain explicit.
  • Make wide-event inspection useful within the existing byte limit: prioritize identifiers/measurements, exclude raw event text and retain intact sampled rows with partial-evidence labels. Reuse catalog metadata only within one authenticated request.
  • Compile exact selected-table sorting and existing return-button labels without inference when their target/output/destination/geometry are verified. Broader or ambiguous requests retain model authoring and every validation gate.
  • Pin persistent driver configuration to the runtime fingerprint so in-place upgrades load changed behavior. Treat native connection-wrapper timeouts as service interruptions instead of query/model-repair failures.
  • Keep unavailable draft links unopened. Opening or refreshing a foreign, missing or deleted link no longer autosaves an unwanted blank draft or changes the active preference. The existing New dashboard and Dashboards actions remain available.
  • Improve the README's download/setup path, installation instructions, changelog and release verification documentation.

Verification

  • On the unchanged 0.31.0 backend, three overlapping ordinary authors completed 18 creation/editing flows and 72 turns across OpenAI, Ollama and managed AITK, using real CPU, reachability and freezer datasets. All turns used one model call without repairs. These results precede the final UI-only patch and are not presented as final-package trials.
  • On the exact final 0.31.1 package, all three providers completed another overlapping ordinary-user freezer flow: 3 flows / 12 turns, one model call per turn, no repairs. Selected calculations/formatting/navigation, exact draft/conversation reopen, private native Studio copies and peer denial passed. Creation took 26.77 seconds for OpenAI, 16.32 for Ollama and 30.29 for AITK in this bounded sample.
  • Independent native synthetic probes checked all 84 source transformations across those cohorts. Nine freezer definitions retained exactly 150°F, excluded 150.1°F/180°F, kept missing readings unknown and preserved independent Wi-Fi/event populations. Fixture rows were neither ingested nor sent to providers.
  • Three deliberately disconnected original creation responses recovered the original validated reply without inference replay. Three model-stage Stop trials acknowledged cancellation within 0.027–0.055 seconds and rejected late delivery; direct upstream calls could still finish and bill. Expected peer/cancellation denials and controlled disconnects remained separate from natural failures.
  • Final-package browser checks verified unavailable/deleted links without writes, deliberate new creation, owned-draft reopening, element selection, a query-only conversational sort, preview drilldown/return navigation and refresh persistence. A missing-link refresh on the second Enterprise version also preserved its original drafts and preference; that second-version UI check used the administrator.
  • The archive installed on Enterprise 10.2.8 / Studio 1.23.12 and 10.4.4 / Studio 1.26.6. The complete three-provider cohort above ran on 10.2.8; second-target AITK remains blocked by maintainer permissions.
  • Release CI covers 429 backend tests on Python 3.9 and 3.13, 106 frontend tests, production build/package, publication checks and secret scanning. AppInspect 4.3.1 precert on the exact archive reported zero errors/failures/future failures, seven warnings and one skip. The production bundle-size warning remains.

Downloads and upgrading

  • constellation-0.31.1.tar.gz: installable Splunk app, byte-identical to the qualified package. All 460 members were checked; no macOS sidecars, folders, resource forks or extended tar metadata are included.
  • constellation-0.31.1-handoff.zip: the same app plus the current user guide and reviewed setup/support/validation documentation, with an embedded app checksum.
  • constellation-0.31.1-user-guide.md: standalone guide. Its related documents are included in the handoff bundle.
  • SHA256SUMS: SHA-256 receipts for all three downloadable artifacts.

Review the installation guide, upgrade guide, AITK setup, changelog and full validation summary. Refresh workspace tabs after updating and follow Splunk's reported restart requirements. Draft schema remains 3; no credential or native-dashboard migration runs. Configure credentials in Splunk; none are supplied.

Remaining limits

Historical native timeouts still need correlated failure evidence; successful reruns do not establish their cause. Longer latency-tail/load trials, broader model/native/imported/SPL2 and complex measurement semantics, independent delivery/storage security review, fresh-install/upgrade/rollback/cluster deployment, unaided UX/accessibility and bundle reduction remain 1.0 gates. Previews can be bounded or partial; native output and working drafts remain separate. This is not general production qualification, full native parity or Splunk Cloud certification.

The repository remains private. No first-party open-source license has been selected.

Constellation 0.28.0 — Development preview

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 27 Oct 18:43

Constellation 0.28.0 is a development preview, continuing work toward 1.0. This release is build 40 and retains the conversation-and-canvas interface, existing permissions and validation limits.

Changes

  • Compile common AITK stats, timechart and raw-table recipes from verified fields into matching SPL and native chart bindings. Preserve event-versus-measurement counts and temperature exclusions; format ordinary aggregate tables for readability.
  • Keep an all-entity Overview independent of detail selections during ordinary new SPL dashboard creation. Destination searches receive the row filter, with shared searches isolated automatically. Existing/imported and advanced dashboards retain their established editing paths.
  • Honor an explicit verified raw-field list in an eligible new table's query and visible columns before actual search validation. Improve compact recovery feedback for required chart counts.
  • Keep Ollama's previously qualified pipeline format; wider recipe-schema trials were not reliable enough to enable there. No new UI controls, privileges, draft migration or larger recovery budget are introduced.

Verification

  • Final-package non-admin qualification completed 18 two-page creation/editing flows and 72 turns across OpenAI, Ollama and managed AITK, using real CPU, reachability and freezer datasets. Draft/conversation reopen, selected edits, drilldowns and private native Studio copies passed, with peer access denied.
  • All six AITK creations needed no model repair. Two Ollama freezer creations recovered within the existing three-call limit. These are bounded operated samples, not provider-wide success rates or production latency guarantees.
  • Independent read-only synthetic probes checked all 72 resulting source transformations, Overview/detail scoping, missing values and temperature boundaries: 150°F retained, 150.1°F and 180°F excluded, independent Wi-Fi/event counts preserved. Fixture rows were neither ingested nor sent to inference.
  • CI passed all four jobs: 394 Python tests on both 3.9 and 3.13, 105 frontend tests, production build/package and secret scanning. AppInspect 4.3.1 precert reported zero errors/failures/future failures, seven warnings and one skip.
  • The exact archive installed on Enterprise 10.2.8 and 10.4.4. This cohort's complete provider journeys ran on 10.2.8 / Studio 1.23.12, one search head; the second target received installation verification only.

Remaining limits

One natural TLS connection reset affected the acknowledgement of an already-delivered AITK edit. The edit and persistence passed, but acknowledgement cleanup was not confirmed; bounded reply retention/expiry remains the backstop. Three controlled lost responses recovered without inference replay. The network/server root cause is not established.

Ollama repairs/tail latency, redundant unit-confirmation suggestions, delivery/tab-storage review, broader native/SPL2/imported scenarios, second-target provider journeys, longer deployment trials, unaided UX/accessibility and bundle size remain 1.0 gates. Actual-data previews can be bounded or partial. This is not production qualification, full native parity or Splunk Cloud certification.

Downloads and upgrading

  • constellation-0.28.0.tar.gz: installable Splunk app, byte-identical to the qualified package. No macOS sidecar files, folders or extended tar metadata.
  • constellation-0.28.0-handoff.zip: the same app plus the user guide and reviewed documentation, with an embedded checksum receipt.
  • constellation-0.28.0-user-guide.md: standalone guide; use the handoff bundle for its related documents.
  • SHA256SUMS: SHA-256 receipts for all three downloadable artifacts.

Review the installation instructions, upgrade guide, AITK setup and full validation summary. Refresh workspace tabs after updating. Draft schema remains 3. Configure credentials in Splunk; none are supplied. No first-party open-source license has been selected.

Constellation 0.27.0 — Development preview

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 27 Oct 15:15

Constellation 0.27.0, build 39 is a development preview for creating and editing native Splunk Dashboard Studio dashboards through conversation and a live canvas.

Changes since 0.19.1

  • Improve field-backed starting questions and follow-ons using recorded units, missing-data context and inspected source evidence.
  • Expand guarded multi-page creation and focused navigation, calculation and formatting edits while preserving unrelated native properties.
  • Recover original validated agent replies after interrupted delivery without replaying inference. Restore bounded pending draft changes after refresh, retain revision conflicts and support cooperative cancellation.
  • Avoid an extra model request for a narrowly recognized fresh-table eval formatting error. Creation guidance now explains assignment separators and string quoting. Actual native search, output, measurement and preservation validation remain mandatory; UI controls and recovery budgets are unchanged.

Downloads and upgrade

  • constellation-0.27.0.tar.gz — installable Splunk app; verified free of macOS files, AppleDouble files and extended archive metadata.
  • constellation-0.27.0-handoff.zip — the same app bytes plus the user guide and installation, provider, security, validation and upgrade documentation. The embedded app uses the equivalent .tgz extension.
  • constellation-0.27.0-user-guide.md — standalone user guide; use the handoff bundle for companion documents.
  • SHA256SUMS — SHA-256 checksums for all three downloads.

Install/update through Splunk app management, then refresh existing workspace tabs. Draft schema remains 3; this update requires no draft or credential migration. See the upgrade guide, installation guide and AITK setup.

Validation and limits

This release is pinned to commit 0af82498eb0dfdce32ef7a8a82f65e4bb8b713ea. The installable archive is SHA-256 cb4b107ff9eca13db89199c34d23f09e2396417d4233854d8146b030133dc5d1. The exact archive was installed on Enterprise 10.2.8 and 10.4.4 without restart.

The Enterprise 10.2.8 / Studio 1.23.12 ordinary-user soak ran at least 30 minutes per provider against CPU, reachability and freezer data: 82 complete flows / 328 accepted turns across OpenAI, Ollama and managed AITK. All flows passed; no eval-syntax repairs appeared. AITK repaired two output-field problems and OpenAI repaired one native-search failure. Median creation was 28.82 seconds for OpenAI, 24.95 for Ollama and 28.11 for AITK; AITK's maximum was 68.23 seconds. These are operated task observations, not provider-wide success rates or a controlled latency comparison.

Independent synthetic probes checked 327 final source transformations, missing values, the 150°F exclusion and independent Wi-Fi readings. Fifteen controlled original-response losses and six cancellation checks passed. Browser checks verified selected-chart chat edits, refresh persistence and preview/native drilldowns. Temporary accounts and the copied test key were removed; original administrator work and protected AITK settings remained unchanged.

CI passed: 380 Python tests on each of Python 3.9 and 3.13, 105 frontend tests, production build/package and full-history secret scanning. Local AppInspect 4.3.1 precert reported zero errors/failures/future failures, seven warnings and one skip. The bundle-size warning remains.

This is not version 1.0, production qualification or Splunk Cloud certification. Implicit Overview/detail scoping, remaining output-field repairs, broader native/SPL2 semantics, second-target provider journeys, longer/deployment/cluster testing, independent delivery/tab-storage review and unaided usability/accessibility remain open. See the full validation record for exact evidence and limits. The repository remains private; no first-party open-source license has been selected.

Constellation 0.19.1 — Development preview

Choose a tag to compare

@LeiterConsulting LeiterConsulting released this 26 Oct 16:08

Constellation 0.19.1, build 31 is a development preview for creating and editing native Splunk Dashboard Studio dashboards through conversation and a live canvas.

Changes

  • The preview now follows the available window height as well as width. Docking, floating, expanded controls and status messages resize it without changing saved dashboard geometry. Tall pages retain native scrolling.
  • Updates since the previous published release include compact multi-page creation, model-budget diagnostics, focused edits, measurement exclusions, sparse/partial-data handling and bounded automatic recovery.
  • Ordinary authors can use owner-only OpenAI credentials and administrator-approved shared AITK inference without credential-store permissions. Managed AITK requires the documented administrator policy and protected connection permissions.
  • Drafts retain conversations, page/focus state and a stable private URL across refreshes. Saving to Splunk creates an ordinary private Studio copy with native searches, inputs, tokens and page navigation.

Downloads and upgrade

  • constellation-0.19.1.tar.gz — installable Splunk app, without macOS metadata or private local configuration.
  • constellation-0.19.1-handoff.zip — the same app plus user, installation, provider, security, validation and upgrade documentation.
  • constellation-0.19.1-user-guide.md — standalone user guide; use the handoff bundle for its companion documents.
  • SHA256SUMS — checksums for all three downloads.

Install/update through Splunk app management, then refresh older workspace tabs. Draft schema remains 3; this update requires no draft or credential migration. Review the upgrade guide and AITK setup.

Validation and limits

The exact app archive is SHA-256 17c2a8e37544d6578894ce8763235ab418272e44a452a21146701f81eaa87014. It is installed on Splunk Enterprise 10.2.8 and 10.4.4 without restart. The height fix was exercised in the installed 10.2.8 workspace and with a standalone synthetic example; saved definition readback remained identical.

CI passed: 63 frontend tests, 316 Python tests on each of Python 3.9 and 3.13, production build/package and secret scanning. Local AppInspect precert reports zero errors/failures, seven warnings and one skip. The existing frontend bundle-size warning remains.

The preceding 0.19.0 build passed twelve bounded non-admin creation/editing journeys across OpenAI, Ollama and AITK on one lab. Those full provider journeys were not repeated for this presentation-only patch. See the validation record for exact scope and remaining gates.

This is not version 1.0 or Splunk Cloud certification. The historical REST delivery cause, independent deployment/security review of transient reply storage, broader accessibility/native-feature coverage, unaided-user acceptance and cluster/Cloud qualification remain open.

Validation and limits

130 Python tests and 51 frontend tests passed; production build, packaging and CI passed. The exact app archive passed local AppInspect precert with zero errors/failures and seven warnings. This is not Splunk Cloud certification or production qualification.

Selected journeys were exercised on Enterprise 10.2.8 / Studio 1.23.12 and Enterprise 10.4.4 / Studio 1.26.6. OpenAI is the baseline for the guided pilot. Ollama new-dashboard creation and complete AITK multi-page creation remain unqualified; provider/model setup and Splunk permissions still apply.
