Way to disable the upgrade prompt?

Could you provide a way to disable the upgrade prompt?

Pitch

I have Lightning 2.1.2 installed. Every time I run my script, I get the following prompt:

A newer version of Lightning is available (2.5.3). Would you like to upgrade? [Y/n]:

For various reasons, I do not want to upgrade. Is there a way to disable this automatic upgrade notification?

Hi @fangliancheng, I wasn’t able to find any trace of this upgrade prompt in the current pytorch-lightning codebase.

While checking the source for 2.1.2, I did notice a helper function under lightning-app that prints upgrade messages

Could it be that something from lightning-app is being pulled in your environment? If you could share a minimal reproducible example along with your environment requirements, it would help contributors narrow this down.
