Loop stuck in German on iPhone 7

iOS 15.8.5

New build using browser, new install.

Same build works in English on iPhone XR and iPhone SE
Location settings correct in iPhone (Canada English)

When Loop is started it runs in German.
The goal was just to have an experimental Loop running with simulators on the old phone to get used to it.
I tried a full system reset / erase on the phone then a reinstall of Loop. Still in German.

I confirm this is an issue with iOS 15 phones.

My iPhone 7 test phone, with v3.8.1, running iOS 15 is showing some screens in Italian.
I changed language to Italian - main screens are in Italian. Restore English and main screens are in English but Therapy Screens are in Italian.
Set language to German - main screens are in German including Therapy Screens.
Restore language to English - main screens are in English but Therapy Screens are in Italian.

I know this is not the answer you want, but we are no longer supporting Loop on iOS 15 devices.

• You can buy inexpensive used devices to replace the old devices that cannot go higher than iOS 15.
• The next iOS support that will be dropped is iOS 16 and that is coming soon.
• Please choose a device that supports iOS 18 and 26. (right now, all phones that support iOS 17 also support iOS 18 and 26).
