For the public dataset, a/the best known option on DandiHub is Dandiset 000037.

This is one of the (relatively) few Dandi Archive datasets with raw data.

@vijayiyer05 Am I correct that it is not possible to directly access a Dandi dataset from dandihub? When using Matlab from dandihub we still need to download a dataset to the Matlab instance before we can use it?

I had assumed we can access the file directly, without this extra download step. But the example you referred to downloads the dataset first. I also cannot find a way to not do so.

Hi @jbentvelsen, downloads are still needed on Dandi, as shown in the example. The key advantage of the Dandi compute environment is there is ample disk space.
