hi,I use yarn + nvm + oh my zsh.
and I only use yarn global, no npm i -g

I usually get the bug yarn/global/node_modules/npm/node_modules/npmlog/log.js:57

reproducible:
1、yarn global add( below package) and dva-cli or bower (maybe other, i don't try)
2、open vscode-insider's terminal(now is ok)
3、yarn global remove (bower or dva-cli what you just add)
4、open vscode-insider's terminal again(throw a error)
btw,my system terminal is ok

@joaomoreno when I open vscode-insider's terminal, it report

if I yarn global remove (all packages) and reinstall global packages, is will be ok

I'm sorry, how is this related to VS Code? Can't you reproduce this with iTerm too?

vscode-insider's terminal always report nvm is not compatile ...(in the picture above ) until I exec brew uninstall node --force (i have 2 node file.nvm and brew install node, due yarn dependen node)

so i think vscode-insider's terminal is not base on system's terminal,

Do you run your system terminal as a login shell? If you you can try adding this to your settings:

"terminal.integrated.shellArgs.osx": []

the thing is already in my setting,and even if i remove it,it also doesn't work

It looks like somewhere in your terminal launch scripts you're setting nvm prefix which is probably causing these problems as the wrong version of node is being installed. Some steps to help you solve the problem:

• Find whether your system terminal runs as login or non-login in the settings
• Find where npm prefix is being set
• Find where nvm init is being run
• Compare the order of events between the system and integrated terminal
