For this one though, I'm a bit confused.

To me it seems like it was already working properly. At least as far as the breadcrumb reflecting the current page properly.

Then again, you never do things without a reason, so what am I missing?

If we F12 when loading the page, we will see this 404.

And this 404 is happening on every page.

This is what we are seeing for now:

But based on the docfx configuration, it should be display as this:
