Sicherheitsupdate ✧

• Ein geteilter Eintrag mit einem kaputten Einmal-Code-Schlüssel kann UwULock nicht mehr zum Absturz bringen
• Passkeys gehen beim Speichern wieder genau so an den Server zurück, wie er sie geschickt hat. Vorher konnten sie auf Vaultwarden für andere Apps unlesbar werden; ein schon betroffener Passkey wird beim nächsten Speichern repariert
• Für ein Konto, das schon auf dem Gerät ist, nimmt UwULock keine schwächere Schlüsselableitung mehr an als beim letzten Mal. Wer sie selbst gesenkt hat, meldet das Konto ab und fügt es neu hinzu
• Abmelden löscht nur noch den Ordner eines Kontos, das wirklich auf dem Gerät ist
• Linux: Das Update entpackt sich in einen eigenen, privaten Ordner statt ins gemeinsame /tmp

Security update ✧

• A shared item with a broken one-time code key can no longer crash UwULock
• Passkeys go back to the server exactly as it sent them when you save. Before, they could become unreadable for other apps on Vaultwarden; a passkey that was already affected is repaired the next time you save
• For an account that is already on this device, UwULock no longer accepts a weaker key derivation than last time. If you lowered it yourself, log the account out and add it again
• Logging out only deletes the folder of an account that really is on this device
• Linux: the update unpacks into a private folder of its own instead of the shared /tmp

Windows: warnt es („Der Computer wurde durch Windows geschützt“), Weitere Informationen → Trotzdem ausführen.

macOS: die .dmg öffnen und UwULock Setup starten. UwULock ist nicht bei Apple notarisiert (keine Developer ID): sagt macOS, es könne das Programm nicht prüfen, unter Systemeinstellungen → Datenschutz & Sicherheit → Trotzdem öffnen freigeben.

Linux: .deb und .rpm installieren systemweit und aktualisieren sich selbst (fragt nach dem Administrator-Passwort); die portable Version einfach entpacken und ./UwULock/uwulock starten, sie aktualisiert sich nicht.

Windows: if it warns that it "protected your PC", More info → Run anyway.

macOS: open the .dmg and start UwULock Setup. UwULock isn't notarized by Apple (no developer ID): if macOS says it can't check the app, allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Linux: the .deb and .rpm install system-wide and update themselves (asking for the administrator password); the portable one you just unpack and start with ./UwULock/uwulock, and it doesn't update itself.
