UwUSSH 0.4.0-beta.3
Deutsch
English
UwUSSH 0.4.0-beta.3 ✧ Sync and UwUAuth fixes
- Sync no longer warns by mistake that the server is holding data back when a device that hasn't synced in a while still lists entries another device has since deleted
- After signing in with UwUAuth, a new device trusts host keys from sync only once another device has synced since; until then UwUSSH asks when connecting
- Signing in with UwUAuth no longer quietly skips a recovery code you typed, and the field is always there

UwUSSH 0.4.0-beta.2 ✧ New look with overview and command palette
- New overview as the first tab: quick connect with user@host:port, recent hosts once there are many, all hosts as cards, and open sessions, tunnels and sync alongside
- New bar above the terminal with status, type password, files, tunnels, command from words and split
- Files can now be shown next to the terminal (⇧⌘F or Ctrl+Shift+F), and the width is remembered
- Show two tabs side by side or one above the other, with an optional shortcut of your own
- New command palette on ⌘K or Ctrl+Shift+K: search hosts, open tabs and actions, open a session beside the current one with Ctrl/⌘+Enter, and carry what you typed over to command from words. Command from words no longer has its own shortcut by default but can be given one again; your own shortcuts are kept

UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.5
Deutsch
English
UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.5 ✧ Links and copying
- Web addresses in the terminal are links now, even when a program prints them as plain text (curl, git push, logs). ⌘-click (Ctrl+click on Windows and Linux) opens them in the browser; a plain click still selects
- Hovering a link shows how it opens
- Copying works reliably: text selected in the terminal, public keys, codes and addresses go straight to the system clipboard, even when the window doesn't have focus

UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.4
Deutsch
English
UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.4 ✧ Two servers, teams and your own shortcuts
- Your own shortcuts: Settings → Keyboard shows your keyboard in the detected layout (switchable). Click a key or press a combination and assign an action. The existing shortcuts stay until you change them
- New actions for keys: connect one specific host, or type a stored text into the terminal, with Enter if you like. If a combination is taken or the terminal needs it, UwUSSH warns and the new action takes it over
- Key bindings sync, separately for macOS and for Windows/Linux. Stored texts are sealed in the vault
- Sidebar: drag to resize and hide it completely – button in the tab bar, Ctrl+Shift+B (⌘B), or drag below the minimum width. Double-click the edge to reset the width
- The count next to Private and Business no longer wraps; the name is shortened when space is tight
- Command from words (Ctrl+K / ⌘K) keeps the latest requests right in the popup: click or use ↑/↓ to bring one back, delete them one by one
- Settings → Terminal: choose the font, every installed monospace font plus the bundled one, with a preview
- Second server: under Settings → Sync you can connect a second server, UwUSync or UwULock in any mix – for example one for private hosts and one for work. Day to day, the main server's master password opens both
- For Private and Business you choose which server new hosts go to. In the host dialog you move a single host to the other server – with its login, key, password, tunnels and known host key
- Shortcuts, stored texts and AI settings live on the main server; you decide which one that is. When you disconnect a server you choose whether its entries leave this device or move to the other server
- Teams (with a UwUSync server that supports them): under Settings → Teams you create a team or join one with an invite code. An admin confirms new members only after comparing their fingerprint with them
- In a team: the roles owner, admin, editor and read-only, invites valid for 7 days, removing members – afterwards UwUSSH shows which hosts should get a new password and key
- In the host dialog you choose under “Filed in” whether a host stays personal or goes into a team. Hosts of a team you only read can be opened and connected to, but not changed
- Teams with several admins: each admin confirms the members another admin let in once themselves, by fingerprint. Until then their device does not replace the team key; the Teams page shows who is missing

English
UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.3 ✧ A new look, and UwULock with two-step login
- UwULock with two-step login: the code is asked once per device, with “Remember this device” checked. After that, email and master password are enough, also after a restart, with the vault locked or when the session ran out. How long a device stays remembered is up to the server. Only signing out of UwULock in UwUSSH forgets the device. The token is kept protected by the operating system and only ever goes back to the server that issued it
- A new look in one piece with the other UwU apps: the UwU Sans font, round buttons, new icons, the same Nyu everywhere – in the main window, in UwUKeygen and in the installer
- Settings → Appearance: new contrast setting (System, Normal, High) and a choice of interface font. The terminal keeps its own font setting
- The terminal sits on the same dark stage as in the other apps, in the light and the dark theme
- macOS: a real title bar and menu bar. Settings (⌘,), new shell (⌘T), new host (⌘N), files, type password, command from words and tunnels are in the menu. ⌘W closes the tab in front; with no tab open it hides the window – UwUSSH stays in the Dock and a click on its icon brings it back. ⌘Q asks while connections are open
- New app icons, on the Mac in the grid of the other Dock icons

UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.2
Deutsch
English
UwUSSH 0.3.0-beta.2 ✧ commands from words, tunnels, and a Mac that feels like one, plus links from UwULock
- New: command from words. Ctrl+Shift+K (⌘K on a Mac) or the sparkle button in the tab bar: "list all users" becomes a command that fits exactly this server, Bash, PowerShell, Cisco or macOS. UwUSSH only types it in; it runs when you press Enter. Dangerous commands are marked red
- Works with Ollama or another local model, or with OpenAI, Claude or Mistral. The API key lives in the vault
- UwUSSH answers similar questions from its own cache without asking the AI again. "show me all users" finds the answer to "list all users". The cache and the AI settings sync between your devices (UwUSync Server 0.2.2 and later)
- New: SSH tunnels. Local (-L) and remote (-R), saved per host, started automatically on connect if you like, and also without an open terminal. The host list shows running tunnels
- New: a warning sign next to hosts that log in with a password instead of a key, with an explanation on hover. Can be switched off in Settings
- New: a setup on first start: appearance, vault and sync, import, AI and warnings. Every step can be skipped and restarted from Settings
- Mac: the real traffic lights on the left, ⌘ shortcuts like Terminal (⌘C, ⌘V, ⌘T, ⌘W, ⌘1…9), copy and paste in every field, and Quit asks about open connections
- Mac: the local shell started from the Dock now gets TERM, a UTF-8 locale and a login shell's PATH. Input that hung, misplaced lines and garbled umlauts should be gone
- Output no longer stalls when an acknowledgement between terminal and app gets lost. A tab shown again is redrawn
- Tunnels are part of the .uwussh export
- New: links like uwussh://connect/ open UwUSSH and connect straight to the host, like a click in the host list. UwULock offers them as "Open in UwUSSH". The link carries only the host's id, never an address or credentials. If UwUSSH doesn't know the host yet, it syncs first; if the vault is locked, it asks for the master password first
- UwUSSH now runs only once: starting it again brings the open window to the front

English
UwUSSH 0.2.1 ✧ safer sync through UwULock
- Safer: when moving from UwUSync to UwULock, UwUSSH now decrypts every entry it reads back from UwULock to check it. A server that only pretends to hold the entries can no longer make the move look successful
- Safer: a server can no longer fill UwUSSH's memory with huge answers during the move or over the live connection. The move keeps only what it needs, and at most what a UwULock account can hold (50,000 entries, 256 MiB)
- Safer: if your UwUSSH data gets a new key on another device right while this device uploads, UwULock Server (0.6.0-beta.2 and later) refuses the upload. UwUSSH then asks for the master password; your change is kept and goes out afterwards
- New: a UwULock Server with a certificate from your own certificate authority (company, home network) works once your system trusts that authority
- If the admin switches app sync off on the UwULock Server, UwUSSH says so clearly under Settings → Sync instead of reporting errors or retrying over and over. Your changes stay on the device, you stay signed in, and once sync is on again UwUSSH catches up by itself. Signing in and "Move to UwULock" are disabled for such a server, with the reason

UwUSSH 0.2.0

English
UwUSSH 0.2.0 ✧ sync through UwULock
- New: sync through UwULock. Under Settings → Sync you sign in with your UwULock account – server, email, master password and, if set up, the two-step code. Hosts, keys and passwords then live end-to-end encrypted in your UwULock account, and changes from other devices arrive right away
- New: a one-click move from UwUSync to UwULock. UwUSSH copies everything, checks the copy and only then switches; everything on UwUSync stays untouched, and a move that stopped simply carries on
- UwUSync stays as it was: if you sync there, nothing changes
- Safer: “remember this device” in the two-step login only counts for the account and server you set it for. Another server never gets to see it, and signing out forgets it
- Safer: if a server asks for a weaker protection of the master password at sign-in than last time, UwUSSH refuses. A rogue server can't make your password easier to crack that way
- Safer: if your UwUSSH data in the UwULock account suddenly sits under another key than before, UwUSSH asks before taking it or uploading anything
- Safer: the server can no longer slip your account a key of its own for the UwUSSH data. Older accounts get this protection on their next sign-in by themselves

UwUSSH 0.1.3 ✧ a security update and a new face on the taskbar
- Safer: deleting and changing permissions as root no longer follow a link someone slipped into a parent folder. As root, UwUSSH changes a file's permissions only in folders that root owns and nobody else may write to
- Safer: a sync server that never lets a sync finish can no longer slip in old host keys of other devices that way
- A short hiccup of the keychain no longer deletes the pairing and the remembered vault
- Linux: the update unpacks into a private folder of its own instead of the shared /tmp
- New taskbar icon: Nyu now stands upright without the dark tile, with a big >_, and reads as a terminal even when small
- New app icon in UwUMail's style
- UwUKeygen has a new icon: a golden key with Nyu's head, easy to spot on the taskbar too
- New: Linux packages (.deb and .rpm) for x64 and ARM, plus a portable version to unpack
- Mac: one setup for Apple chips and Intel
- Nyu's mouth is a round w now
