we can probably assume that this case was an accidental racist accidentally marginalise... the soap dispenser.

accept the fact that for that person it was offensive, don't minimise or be defensive.

having a diverse group but not letting them say anything

inclusion is benefit from having those people in the room

cognitive biases are mental shortcuts...we don't need this any more because this help protect us against diversity

the more you increase diversity, you innoculate yourself against cognitive biases

cognitive biases hurt innovation

add preferred pronouns into slack and twittwr to normalise it for everyone to choose how they will be addressed
