CyTools_MeshStudio 0.1.3

Choose a tag to compare

@MrMybal MrMybal released this 02 Nov 23:08

Changes

Shared typed parameter controls, interactive mesh viewport surface, themes and diagnostics. Corrects the mesh viewer startup indentation error.

Selected unmodified CyUI 1.2.0 modules are pinned in app/cyui-source.json. The full MIT license is included in LICENCES/CyUI-MIT.txt, with the upstream license link. The CyUI repository is currently private; the packaged application runs without access to it. Application and third-party licenses remain unchanged.

Windows x64 download

Download CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.3-windows-x64.zip, extract the complete archive into a writable folder, then launch CyTools_MeshStudio.exe. Private Python and the base interface dependencies are included. Models, optional inference engines and user data are not included.

CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.3-app.zip is the application update for an existing compatible runtime. Use the full Windows package for a new installation. SHA-256 checksums are provided.

Validation

The portable launcher was started from a separate working directory; the CLI contract, selected CyUI source hashes, adapter integration tests and application update layout were verified on Windows. Linux/macOS execution and model inference were not revalidated for this interface release.

@MrMybal MrMybal released this 17 Oct 17:17

MeshStudio 0.1.2 introduces the CyUI desktop interface.

  • Navigate tools, workflows, the 3D viewer, installation and settings from the sidebar.
  • Find operations and model entries with search fields.
  • Choose a theme and interface density in Options.
  • Keep the existing operation schemas, CLI and MCP integration, and CyToolsCore 0.10.1 (MIT).

Windows: download CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.2-windows-x64.zip, extract it and launch CyTools_MeshStudio.exe. Private Python and native remeshing utilities are included. AI models and optional engine environments are installed separately in the application.

Updating 0.1.1: use the Updates page, or the CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.2-app.zip application archive. Your data and models are preserved. The separate EXE requires the adjacent app and runtime folders.

SHA-256 checksums are supplied for each download.

CyTools_MeshStudio 0.1.0

Pre-release

@MrMybal MrMybal released this 26 Sep 00:12

CyTools_MeshStudio 0.1.0 — first release.

One desktop Tool for meshes: reconstruction from pictures (LocalMesh / TRELLIS.2, Hi3DGen, TripoSR, SPAR3D), prepared and generated views, quad remeshing (AutoRemesher, QuadWild Bi-MDF), xatlas UV unwrapping, PBR baking, texturing of a remeshed model for its own topology, mesh editing and inspection, rigging (UniRig), motion from video (WHAM), and workflows that chain them — fourteen are shipped. Dear ImGui interface in English and French, command line, and MCP server on the CyToolsCore runtime.

Assets

  • CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.0-windows-x64.zip — Windows 10+ x64. Unzip it into a folder with a short path and double-click CyTools_MeshStudio.exe; nothing to install. Holds the application, an embeddable CPython 3.12.10 with the application's packages, uv 0.12.19, AutoRemesher 1.2.0 and QuadWild Bi-MDF v0.0.2. The engine environments and the model weights are built and downloaded by the Installation tab (tens of gigabytes; several weights are under non-commercial licences or ask for a personal acceptance on their page). runtime/RELEASE.json inside the archive lists every part with its URL and SHA-256.
  • CyTools_MeshStudio-0.1.0-app.zip — the app/ folder and the guides: what an installed Tool downloads from its Updates tab.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt

Executed on the development machine (Windows 10, RTX 3090): the binary archive extracted to a fresh folder starts from its executable with the embedded interpreter; from there the Installation path builds the geometry engine with the shipped uv, and AutoRemesher, xatlas and QuadWild run on the test mesh. QuadWild cannot work in a folder whose path exceeds about 240 characters (a limit of the upstream binary): the Tool refuses it with a message instead of crashing. The app archive is accepted by the Updates tab. Linux has not been executed.
