Data Analyst (normal user)
As a data analyst, you can
- Export a mapping from our website and download it to your device as a .csv file.
- Modify the .csv downloaded from our website and import it back to the mapping as well as the databse to upload your changes.
To export data, you need to select your targeted database and mapping created by the mapping administrator. There are also some optional fields to customize your data export. You can choose Order By to order the data in descending or ascending order based on an attribute, and you can also set up the maximum rows exported. In addition, you can filter the data by selecting an attribute and specifying the value of the attributes you want to export. Only data that matches this value will be exported.
When a .csv file is downloaded to your device, it will be given a UID as its file name, which will be later used for uploading. We do not recommend you to change the name of the .csv file in order to guarantee proper uploading behavior of the .csv file.
To upload your modified data, simply choose the targeted database and mapping. Remember to select the correct Export ID which is just the name of the .csv file.
