FAQ
Do I need to change my Mumble server? No. Plugins run in your client and work on any standard Mumble server.
What do people on the official Mumble client see? A plain text line where it matters (for example a poll question) and nothing else.
Are plugins safe? They run in a strict sandbox, show their permissions before install and are signed. See Safety and signatures.
Can I turn everything off? Yes. "Turn off all plugins" in Settings > Plugins, or Ctrl+Shift+P.
Are any plugins preinstalled? No.
Will an update change what a plugin may do? Only with your approval. Updates that need more permissions wait for you.
What does "Unofficial" mean? The plugin comes from a third-party repository. It cannot use the red official-only permissions.
Which languages are supported? All 24 Mumcord languages.
Can I write my own plugin? Yes. See For developers.
