Installing plugins

Open Settings > Plugins > Browse in Mumcord.
Pick a plugin.
Review its permissions.
Choose Install.

Its icon appears in the plugins strip under the channel tree.

Good to know

Nothing is preinstalled. You choose what runs.
Updates install automatically when they need no new permissions. If an update asks for more, it waits for your approval.
Turn off all plugins at once in Settings > Plugins, or with the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P).
Optional permissions can be switched off at any time.
Plugins from other repositories (added in Settings > Plugins) are marked Unofficial.
Plugins are available in all 24 Mumcord languages.

No server changes are needed. Everything runs in your client.
