How to use requestReadPermissions with Facebook button

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but is there a way to use the requestReadPermissions function with <Facebook:LoginButton login="{{ onLogin }}"></Facebook:LoginButton> ?

I understand that the requestReadPermissions function can be initiated with a custom login button.
