Cannot process comment sections

I am trying to compile the schema:

"""
extend type Query{
    invoices(userId:String): [Invoice]
}

and getting
Invalid Syntax : offending token '""" testing a comment works correctly """' at line 5 column 1
Is there a setting to allow these types of comments?
