Just add a username/password to an SSL host?

Describe the bug
I have several lets encrypt hosts with ssl enabled. I wanted to "just" add Basic Auth to one of them so I asdded an access list. I added "allow All" (because I want toallow all) and entered a username/password.

Result was that the host told that it is aself signed ssl certificate ... so something happened. When I remove the access list from the host all works as expected
