Android TV, Fire TV and Android phones - build 555

Media Hub

• New look: the title you're on fills the top of the page with its logo art, a "Movie • Genre • Year • runtime" line, its IMDb rating and four lines of description, over a bigger backdrop.
• Wide focused card: the card you're on turns into a wide picture with the title's logo; the others stay posters.
• New left panel: the same glass look as the top bar. It folds into a slim strip of icons while you browse the rows, and opens again when you press Left.
• Search moved to the left panel: press OK on Search and pick Movies or TV Shows from the small menu that slides out. Phones keep Search in the top bar.
• Expanded catalog shows the focused title's backdrop and details at the top.

Sports Trak

• Rugby: Six Nations, Premiership, URC, Top 14, Champions Cup, Super Rugby Pacific, Rugby World Cup, Test matches and NRL, with scores and tables.
• Cricket: IPL, Big Bash, PSL, SA20, CPL and T20 Blast, with fixtures and runs (no tables).
• PDC darts: one card per tournament day (no individual matches or scores).
• Add them in League manager under Rugby, Cricket and Darts.
• Team ranks: team names show their table position, like Blackhawks (15); college teams show their poll ranking.
• Watch game button (off by default, Settings > Sports Trak): when a game you set a reminder for starts, a Watch game button appears in the player. Up from the player bar, then OK, switches to the game.
• Goals alert for a whole league: hold OK on a game, or on a league in League manager.
• Goal alerts show who scored when the sports feed has it.
• Better channel finding for fights, including channels that only name one fighter (Canelo).
• Sports Mode rows scroll only as far as needed and no longer slide under the side panels.
• Fixed: on days when the clocks change, tomorrow's games were missing and the day strip's "tomorrow" showed today.

Player

• Up Next setting (Settings > Playback > Up Next): start the next episode 30 seconds before the end, when the episode ends, or never.
• Hold Right to resume no longer also jumps to the last channel.

Google TV / Chromecast

• The D-pad can leave a text field after typing (the on-screen keyboard used to trap it).

Windows

Windows remains at 1.0.45. This release contains an Android APK only; Windows has not been rebuilt or tested for these changes. Its existing download remains available on the website and the 1.0.45 release.

Install

Update through Settings > Check for Updates, download app-release.apk, or use Downloader code 1760256. Install over your existing app to keep your setup.
