v1.10.1
Guget 1.10.1 replaces the withdrawn 1.10.0 release and fixes package-update delays and TUI workflow failures.
- Restore fast edits for straightforward package updates and removals, including shared props and central package versions. Ambiguous declarations retain ownership validation.
- Show local projects before feed discovery finishes. Keep navigation available during background work and avoid false reloads that close dialogs.
- Explain unmet dependency requirements before quick updates. Mark affected candidates with
[deps], list the required versions and projects, and distinguish explicit version pins. - Fix mouse input ordering, package and release links, and cancellation when leaving dependency views.
- Offer valid central-package add locations and queue restores behind pending saves.
- Report CLI timeouts as interruptions and create missing installation directories.
Upgrade an existing installation with:
guget self-updateOr download the archive matching your operating system and architecture below. The VS Code extension uses your installed Guget executable; update that executable to receive these fixes.
v1.9.0
v1.8.1
Changes
- Restore holding
uto update successive packages with status sorting. Quick updates retain the row position after each write and reload. - Select newly added packages, retain a neighboring row after removal, and preserve later navigation or sorting when a save completes.
- Ignore key-release events and allow
Ctrl+Cto quit from any overlay. - Serialize TUI package writes and apply multi-project additions as one transaction.
- Fix additions to compact XML, preserve UTF-8 BOMs, validate resulting project documents, and reconcile failed atomic writes with disk state.
- Update Go dependencies, extension tooling, and CI actions while preserving the historical terminfo revision.
Build requirements
Building the CLI from source now requires Go 1.26 or newer. Extension builds and packaging require Node.js 22 or newer. The extension continues to support VS Code 1.85 or newer.
