I've designed this step-by-step flow to make things super easy for students (I think breaking it down keeps it simple and guides students naturally). Should we roll with this approach, or would a simpler all-in-one form with dropdowns work better? Appreciate your thoughts before we finalize! 🚀

I recommend the step-by-step flow as the better approach. It reduces cognitive load, provides clear visual guidance, and uses progressive disclosure which is ideal for students. The guided experience creates a more supportive learning path, especially for new users.
While an all-in-one form might save clicks for experienced users, the step-by-step design you've created offers a more intuitive and less overwhelming experience that will better serve most students.
