Already the current version of OpenBoard has several options.
Run OpenBoard in a windowTo run OpenBoard in window mode you have to ad an entry to the user configuration file. See #916 for detailed instructions. You can then even maximize the window without hiding the toolbar. Use the Horologe widgetOpenBoard comes with a widget which shows the current time:
You now have the clock visible on all pages of your document. |

There is a clock in the OpenBoard interface — just open the left panel. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this, since it's clearly documented in the manual ;-)

The Horologe widget is the better option. Opening the left panel while teaching is a distraction. It would be great if the page number is visible (without opening the left pane) in board mode. |

Hello,
I am a teacher and I use OpenBoard during my lessons. The application always runs in full screen, which hides the system taskbar and the clock. Tracking time is very important while teaching, but right now I cannot see the current time without minimizing or switching windows.
It would be very useful to have a visible clock inside the OpenBoard interface, for example in the toolbar or in a corner of the screen. This would help teachers keep track of time without interrupting the flow of the lesson.
Would it be possible to add such a feature in future versions?
Thank you for considering this request.
