Oh, definitely, though I think there are big enough changes in here to warrant a minor version bump to 6.11.0. |

Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I'm getting a pile of tickets that I need to merge before WP 6.9 (after the wondrous decission of doing one fricking version a year, it's painful). After getting over the Mail component in WP, I've been reviewing it and the problems are stockpiling like crazy, one blocking each other.
The thing is that it would be great if we can create a minor version after closing #3202 and maybe #3234 (depending on the conclusion), like 6.10.1. A good bunch of changes have come to
parseAddressesand basically I'm leveraging this new better working function, to redesign the whole headers parsing structure of WP.If it looks good, I will try to focus on fixing #3202 asap.
