Compilation will fail on Mac OS X with the compiler unable to find the uint type unless sys/types.h is included in vfe/unix/vfeplatform.h and vfe/vfesession.h. Macports patches this in: https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/graphics/povray/files/patch-vfe-uint.diff

We'll address this by eliminating all uint types from the non-Windows specific code, replacing them with unsigned int.
