The Rich Content API will enable RCS & WhatsApp as well if Pipedream is willing to enable all the features. But SMS API will have a greater ability when customers are needing to send large volume at a time.
In terms of triggers, it really up to businesses on how they would like to build the workflow around, for example actions after receiving an inbound message, action when SMS is failed to deliver.
