Describe the Bug

Fingerprint is not being setup.
Finger print sensor activates but it dosent scan the finger.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to setup fingerprint in oneplus 7

Expected Behavior

you wont be able to setup finger print auth

I use OnePlus 7 myself and there's no such issue. No one in the group reported the same either. I can understand the report from @ojaschauhan44 but what exact devices do you guys have @devu-62442 and @kashikasharda

After the installation as i tried to setup fingerprint on the first attempt it did read twice and then stopped so setup did not finish. And after that it stopped reading it. Sensor is active which can be seen from the sensor light turning white but it wont read the finger print.

I got OP7 just installed the 13 plus edition yesterday.

Kind of similar to the above mentioned issue for me.

When i try to setup it scans once for me and then stops scanning the finger print.

And if i restart then it will scan once and stop scanning.

By scan once i mean not the full fingerprint but while adding when we tap and lift so just one tap it scans and then stops.

I tried reset as well and multiple restarts but nothing seems to work for me.

@ojaschauhan44 no because that issue is not existent. No one has that issue except you. Moreover I'm using the same built and my fp is fine. The other two people who have commented here, I'm not sure if their device is op7. Your issue might have occurred due to new screen guard, magisk modules, different kernel etc.

Dont have a new screenguard been using this for 1 year, dont have magisk for kernel idk

and how can the issue be non existent when i am describing and facing it. Shared the video for proof mate.

I followed the whole process of flashing so maybe someone else is facing the same and dont know where to report it yet. r maybe others also face it and just switch to something else because creator seems to not acknowledge the issues. 👁️

You can join and ask op7 users for yourself. If everyone (or many users) had such an issue I'd get multiple reports by now. I am not saying that your issue is false. Grab logs and tag me in that group.
