Failure launching from vscode

I'm having issues with the editor services from VSCode and think it maybe related to the stuff locking down this machine I'm using but would really like to try and gather some information to prove this, so looking for assistance in diagnosing the issue.

The machine has Ivanti Application Control Agent installed (formerly AppSense ?)

It appears the amagent.exe version is 10.1.455.0

The powershell integrated console always launches as a seperate window and not within vscode..

I'm pulling my hair out with this so any tips or suggestions welcome :)
