Hey, everyone! I've been listening to the podcast for a while now. I found it by searching "sysadmin" on Apple Podcasts. It appears Episode 9 was the first I listened to. I work in a law firm as an application engineer. I package and deploy applications from SCCM and Intune, patching, maintain servers, etc. Not quite a sysadmin, but do sysadmins exist in large employers? I was more of a sysadmin at my last job as the only IT guy in a company of 75 people. Github is certainly an interesting choice for a discussion forum. I've never really used github but I did have an account (my browser remembered). This feels old-school cool, like the internet in 2009. I'm part of a sysadmin Discord already and its really helpful in moments like today. "Anyone else's Exchange just take a shit?" In two minutes there were a dozen of us discussing it then MS posted the status update. I also think a positive of this forum could be that its more "serious". Less memes would be nice. I'm a massive fan of Formula 1 and ready for 2026 testing that starts next week. =D |

Welcome!
If you’re new, feel free to introduce yourself! You don’t need to provide a resume or anything, just what you're comfortable with.
Some Ideas:
Lurking is totally fine too 🙂
Reminder: If you haven't taken a look at the Discussions README.md you can find it here!
