QtSharp 0.27.0

The packages follow PyQt6's split and are published per platform, as two archives:

  • QtSharp-0.27.0-win-x64.zip - every *.win-x64 package (QtSharp.Api, Runtime,
    Qt6, Charts, Qt3D, Multimedia, Positioning, Sql, WebView) and their addon Qt runtimes.
  • QtSharp-0.27.0-linux-x64.zip - the same list for *.linux-x64 (WebView is
    Windows-only and has no Linux package).

Extract the archive for the machine you build on and add that folder as a local NuGet
source (<add key="local" value="<folder>" />); the package id carries the RID
(QtSharp.Api.win-x64, QtSharp.Api.linux-x64) and only that platform's Qt runtime
and native glue are inside. The .NET assemblies are identical in both. QtSharp.Tools is
Windows-only and is attached on its own. The Windows archive also carries the
Microsoft.Web.WebView2 package that QtSharp.WebView depends on, so that feed
restores without nuget.org.

  • QtSharp.Api - the binding as nine module assemblies (QtCore, QtGui, QtWidgets,
    QtNetwork, QtSvg, QtSvgWidgets, QtPrintSupport, QtOpenGL, QtOpenGLWidgets).
    Reference it and write Qt applications in C#; no Qt SDK or C++ toolchain is needed.
  • QtSharp.Runtime - the managed runtime and the shared native glue. Brought in by
    QtSharp.Api; reference it only if you build a binding module yourself.
  • QtSharp.Qt6 - the Qt 6 runtime (Windows DLLs and platform plugin; on Linux the
    lib/ + plugins/ prefix) . Brought in automatically.
  • QtSharp.Tools - the Qt command-line tools (rcc, uic, lrelease,
    lupdate) plus MSBuild QtResource support for compiling .qrc files.
    Windows x64 only.
  • QtSharp.Charts - the optional QtCharts extension, against QtSharp.Api;
    QtSharp.Charts.Qt6 carries Qt6Charts.
  • QtSharp.Qt3D - the optional Qt3D extension (Qt3DCore, Qt3DRender, Qt3DInput,
    Qt3DLogic, Qt3DAnimation, Qt3DExtras), against QtSharp.Api;
    QtSharp.Qt3D.Qt6 carries the Qt3D runtime and plugins.
  • QtSharp.Multimedia - the optional QtMultimedia extension (playback, capture, the
    device/format classes and QVideoWidget), against QtSharp.Api;
    QtSharp.Multimedia.Qt6 carries the Qt multimedia libraries and backend plugin.
  • QtSharp.Positioning - the optional QtPositioning extension, against
    QtSharp.Api; QtSharp.Positioning.Qt6 carries Qt6Positioning.
  • QtSharp.Sql - the Qt model classes QtSql used to bind (QSqlQueryModel,
    QSqlTableModel) over ADO.NET; no Qt SQL module involved.
  • QtSharp.WebView - a QWidget that hosts Microsoft Edge WebView2 (Windows x64
    only), for web content without QtWebEngine; the Evergreen WebView2 runtime is a
    system prerequisite. See the WebView readme.

Linux note: Qt's X11/OpenGL runtime libraries (libxcb-*, libxkbcommon-x11-0,
libgl1) must be installed on the machine, exactly as for any Qt application. The
packages deploy the Qt tree and a qt.conf, so no LD_LIBRARY_PATH is needed.

and the WebView readme.
