Release Notes

Quenching has been updated to 3.4. Download it from the official website. This update mainly addresses visual flaws while restoring and strengthening optional features from earlier versions.

New Features

  • Added an uncensor button, now available as a toggle
  • The Quenching client now auto-detects the Warcraft III version and applies the matching shaders
  • Added hero glow intensity control

Adjustments

  • Environment rendering (fog) is off by default
  • Retro terrain now uses its own independent vegetation

Fixes

  • Fixed some features remaining clickable without the full package installed
  • Fixed Warcraft III failing to launch when the full package was missing
  • Improved cliff color mismatch issues
  • Adjusted overall lighting: units appear brighter, ground appears darker
