This wiki contains useful details (mainly, but not exclusively) about the C++ component development framework in RIAPS. We are showing examples how to utilize RIAPS features in your application and discussing the RIAPS C++ API in details. If you are interested in RIAPS messaging patterns, C++ component development or developing the riaps-core itself you are on the right page. The riaps-core package contains two major parts of the RIAPS system: (1) the discovery service, which maintains and propagates the addresses of the running RIAPS services, (2) the C++ component framework, which exposes the RIAPS features through C++. riaps-core is not alone, RIAPS is built up from several other services and modules (details).
This wiki pages focuses mainly on the C++ part, but you can read useful details about the messaging and the application modeling too. We give a detailed description about how to install dependencies of riaps-core. How to compile from source or install from deb. Most importantly we give detailed examples and descriptions about the API.
