Downloading a file into a folder does not work

Device: Wemos D1 mini.
Windows 10, VSCode 1.55.1.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In VSCode Explorer put a file into a folder;
2. Download the file -> Success message but it's not updated on a device;
3. Download the folder with the file -> OK.
4. Sync all -> OK.
