Not finished yet. easyQ Q&A is in early development and not ready for live sites. Try it on a test site only.

Can I use easyQ on my live site?

Not yet. easyQ is in early development: asking, answering, voting, moderation, profiles and all Q&A pages work, but there is no settings screen, no emails or notifications, and no privacy export and erasure yet. Follow the phase plan to see what comes next.

Where are the settings?

The settings screen comes with the next phase. Until then easyQ uses the defaults of Question2Answer, for example who may ask, answer and vote, and how many points each action gives.

Does easyQ work with my theme?

easyQ is made for block themes such as Twenty Twenty-Five, where you arrange the Q&A pages in the Site Editor. Classic themes show the Q&A pages between their header and footer. easyQ ships no stylesheet: the Q&A area looks like the rest of your site.

Why can't I find the Q&A pages under Pages?

They are templates, not pages, so they cannot be deleted by accident and their addresses stay the same. Edit them under Appearance → Editor → Templates, see Customizing the Q&A pages.

Who can ask and answer?

Registered users can ask, answer, comment and vote. Posting without an account can be allowed with the settings screen of the next phase; such visitors get a cookie, so they can edit their post later.

Does easyQ send data to other services?

No. easyQ makes no requests to external services and does not track visitors.

Can I move my Question2Answer site to easyQ?

Not at the moment: easyQ has no import from Question2Answer. If you need one, please say so in an issue.

Does easyQ delete my data when I delete the plugin?

No. Your questions, answers and users stay in the database when you delete the plugin.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

Please open an issue with the steps to reproduce it, your WordPress and PHP version and your theme.
