This addresses an issue raised by @bbolker in #1360: CLOENV is now flagged by R-devel.

Checklist

  • Code compiles correctly
  • R CMD check still passes all tests
  • Preferably, new tests were added which fail without the change
  • Document the changes by file in ChangeLog

As expected, no issues in reverse-depends check so proceding to merge.
